This vinegar often referred to as the hair rinse, is a great treatment for all hair types whether natural or processed. It has many benefits for internal and external body use.
Lets look at the hair benefits;

Apple Cider Vinegar, promotes healthy hair growth in the following ways:

  • It removes product build up that can result from the use of these styling products and inexpensive shampoos.
  • Treats dandruff and hair loss.
  • Balances the hair scalp PH.
  • Closes cuticles leading to smoothness.
  • It is also a good conditioner and cleaning agent.

  Hair Herbal Rinse.

By infusing various herbs into the vinegar rinse, you can enhance different hair colours and condition hair at the same time.

you can use these herbs with apple cider vinegar
  • For dark hair :    Parsley Rosemary, Sage
  • For light hair,:    Chamomile, Flannel Mullein, Marigold
  • For red hair:        Henna
  • For oily hair:       Lavender, Thyme, Witch Hazel, Yarrow
  • For dry hair;        Marigold

How do you make your own herbal hair rinse natural hair care product?
  1. Place 2 tablespoons of the dried herb (or herb mixture) into a muslin bag or tea ball and put in a warmed tea pot.
  2. Pour 1 pint (500 ml) of boiling water over the herbs and infuse for two hours.
  3. Allow the liquid to cool then pour it into a quart (1 litre) jar.
  4. Add 1 pint (500 ml) of apple cider vinegar and mix well.
To add extra fragrance to the herbal rinse, try adding a few drops of lavender or lemon or rose essential oils.

I know you will say "I have no time for this" well you can just buy the vinegar from a store near you.

Note: If you try ACV rinses and find that your hair isn't feeling or looking better, there's no reason to continue doing them. As with other natural and commercial products, some things will work better for you than others.
