Moisturizing The Natural Hair.

Hello Ladies,

 Moisture is everything when it comes to natural hair health. Still, many naturals struggle with retaining moisture.
Here are some tips to keep your natural hair moisturized. If you just started transitioning to natural or you are fully natural, your hair needs all the moisture it can get.
when transitioning, you get to deal with two textures; natural and chemically processed. Moisturizing is key at this stage likewise peeps grooming naturals to prevent dryness and breakage.

Using Water:
          Water is moisture. It is no news that adding water to your hair keeps it moist and hydrated. The issue is not in putting in water to the hair buy how to retain this moisture. this is where I bring in natural oils.

Oils:
 This helps hair hold on to water molecules. Some natural oils have proven abilities to penetrate the hair shaft and bind with the hair internal structure or protein. some of these oils include:

Coconut oil;

Coconut oil is a polar  and saturated oil  proven to help reduce protein loss during shampoo.it also increases the ability of hair to retain moisture.

  Jojoba oil is another oil that seals in moisture and works for all hair types
Olive oil; when olive oil is mixed with coconut oil, moisture will be locked in like never before.
another great oil is the castor oil, with its great moisture sealing properties, it can be used as hair moisturizer. When used as hot oil treatment it also promotes hair growth.
